“Love Is A Liability”
She is sleek and enticing, and in her feline grace and sensual appeal, but don't fool yourself; she's lethal. But I think deep down you know that, and that's what draws you to her. She captivates you with her beauty and ferocity. Perhaps you can see a glimmer of the heart, which once was warm and beating in her chest? It beats no more. I see how she makes you want to come closer; I don't advise it. This one is dangerous, unpredictable, and lethal. She won't just take your body and leave it lifeless, but she is capable of devouring your very soul if it suits her. Move along quickly; she's distracted at the moment by the music. You might be able to get to safety if you keep your distance and she doesn't notice you. You'd better pray she doesn't notice you. It's the music that holds her. Holds her together in her apocalyptic grief. When she's completely broken beyond repair, the music holds her together. The music holds her in its arms so lovingly and gentle, she almost forgets the frozen heart which stopped beating in her chest centuries ago. It's now just a cold dead thing, a mover of blood through her body and no more. The music reminds her of a time when her heart was beating and filled with love. Now, she realizes love is a liability. It's a weakness, a most inconvenient curse. Especially painful when it's not returned. It holds her back from living within the means of her true nature, what her true nature has become. What is it exactly that has become of the child whose heart and love was never returned with anything but hate, loneliness and, no physical affection; only violence, pain, emotional torment, and spiritual obliteration? I'll tell you what she has become; she has become a monster. A destroyer and influencer of hearts and minds. She has become the ultimate predator, the hunter of the hunters that once hunted her. She became the one she needed to defend her when she was helpless, and no one came to her rescue. She has become the alpha, the apex predator personified. Once she has captivated you with her poison charm, there is no escape. The only thing which keeps this one now safe from her sinking her fangs deep into his sweet, young, delicious flesh and draining him of his last drops of blood, life's pure essence. The life is in the blood, and this life she cannot touch. Do you have any idea of the agony and self-control it takes to turn away from this gift that's being placed before her? The love that holds her to honor a promise is a testament to her strength and the weakness of loving someone inflicts upon her. Still, she will honor the promise made long ago. Even this monster has a code of honor she will not break. Still, look but don't touch is your best course of action as far as she is concerned. If you're not smart enough to heed my warning, you deserve whatever you get. You've been warned. For now, she resides deep within the music. Once again, it's her protector, warrior, and light. It may be the one thing that could be the defibrillator to her frozen heart? Her sanctuary, her love story, the place she left and found her joy. It's all right there in the notes and lyrics. A funeral dirge of biblical proportions. Although, the keys of the piano theoretically could be the keys to her heart and heartbreak. Perhaps there is redemption and resurrection for this monster after all?
