Blood Rose
Creativity is not the rose you hold in your hands. It’s the gentle breeze that carries her sweet scent to you.
And it, being as free as a breeze, goes wherever it so chooses and doesn’t sit quietly perched on your shoulder, ready to perform at your command.
However, like the rose, it lures you with its beauty and splendor. Again, you pay the price in blood for the fleeting pleasure of holding her in your hands.
Sometimes, it is best just to BE. You don't have to do anything other than exactly what you’re doing at this moment. If you feel moved to express yourself creatively, then do so, and that is perfectly fine.
You shouldn’t have to bleed for creativity and self-expression. If it hurts to try to hold onto thorns, let go.
Her beauty and splendor are in the pleasure of experiencing her because we perceive her beauty with all our senses.
Whether we hold her in our hands or leave her uninterrupted on the vine, this is where she exists in perpetuity.
