“Light Fading Into Darkness”

Light fading.

Into darkness, she delves.

Pain is all that remains.

Loss and betrayal is all that is left.

Never to remember the lies of the dawn.

Don't take it, don't feel it, let it go.

Release it, release it all.

Let it all flow through, out onto the floor.

Running out like the blood of a slaughtered calf on the sacrificial stone.

Let it's blood run out,

let these feelings run out until death.

Death of the soul, death of the heart.

I end it now, I walk away, I am not this!

I will not be strangled by these feelings.

I end it now.

I walk on into the dawn.

Her light burns all of the pain.

It's over.

I am now free.
