“Lunatic”

Darkness come, darkness fall softly.

Oh beautiful night you are my light.

My life, my breath. My beautiful night.

This moon so bright, I love your light.

You move me so deeply this night.

Like the tide you make my blood rise.

You move me so deeply, to the core of my being.

Call me a Lunatic if you will.

You could not be more right.

It wakes up the primal animal deep within.

The “wild animal” as I've been called.

I am something you do not understand.

Something you clearly cannot see.

You can only see who you want me to be.

If you ever got a small glimpse

of what I truly am;

you would run so fast and so far.

If you play with fire,

you're going to get immolated.
