“Darkness or Light”

Wolf in darkness reaching for the light.

Raven's feathers black as night.

Cool as the moonlight bathing this night.

In between the darkness and the light.

A constant fight.

Looking deep inside myself, what is right?

Pain breeds darkness, love breeds light.

When it is all said and done who will win the fight?

For once, I'd just like to be right.

Is my heart so wrong in its sight?

Will this wolf walk forever alone in the pale moonlight?

I reach for love in vain, it’s not a pretty sight.

Alone this wolf walks in darkness this night.

I bid you my love, eternal goodnight.

My heart is strong, but not even I can win this fight.

See you on the other side, my love, see you in the light.

Into the light this wolf she goes, into the light.
